What is the difference between counseling and coaching?

In counseling the emphasis in looking back in your life and finding healing from the wounds and/or trauma of your past.

Coaching is results oriented with the time frame looking at the present and toward your future.

Do we meet in person for our coaching sessions or are their other alternatives?

There are several options available.

What is the cost?

There are several different packages available along with a sliding scale that adjusts according to your ability to pay. It is important to us that nobody goes without help that truly desires it. Contact me for details.

What qualifies you to be my coach?

I am a Board Certified Advanced Christian Life Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Christian Coach's Association. I also have training from the AACC in addiction recovery. I have received my coaching education through Light University.

I also have a degree in theology and am a licensed minister.

These certification and license, along with my personal life experience of overcoming a life of addiction, shame and depression allow me to coach with insight, wisdom and understanding.

Will there be assignments?

Yes, there will be assignments between each session.

What age groups and genders do you coach?

Typicality adult women. If a client is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian’s approval is necessary.

Does what we discuss remain private?

Yes, coaching sessions are confidential. No information will be shared except when all parties have given written permission or when it is required by law to disclose personal information.
