Freedom Connection

Take a deep breath…

Nov 10

Today is a day to stop and breathe deep.  Take a deep breath….

[tweet_dis]Remember that there is hope.  Freedom is real.[/tweet_dis]

There is a song I would like to share with you that is very peaceful and soothing.  As you listen, you can soak in the truth that our Father God can and wants to bring restoration to your soul.

In pondering this song, I looked up the definition of restoration and it not only means brought back to a previous condition, but it also means to bring something to a more improved condition than what it was before.  Isn’t that just like our loving Father God?  He can bring restoration to our souls because His son Jesus gave His life on the cross for our sins.  He does not condemn us because of our sins, but [tweet_dis]He loves us with a love that knows no limits.[/tweet_dis]

Let that sink in a minute… a love that knows no limits.

It does not matter where you have been or what you have done. It does not matter what you have imagined doing. Nothing from your past can detour Him from loving you.

Jesus looks at the whole picture of your life and He is not frightened away… He is reaching out to you with gentleness and compassion.  He loves you… He desires to heal the broken places of your life and to bring restoration.

Take a deep breath…. remember there is hope and His freedom is real.

The Bible tells us that we can be confident that we will never be separated from the love of God: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 New International Version)

You bring restoration.
You bring restoration.
You bring restoration to my soul.

You’ve taken my pain
Called me by a new name.
You’ve taken my shame
And in its place, You give me joy.

You take mourning and turn it into dancing;
You take weeping and turn it into laughing;
You take mourning and turn it into dancing;
You take my sadness and turn it into joy.

Hallelujah, hallelujah
You make all things new, all things new.
